Moonshine Vision Lab

MVL is a research group based at Sungshin Women's University, led by Dr. Oakyoon Cha. We study visual perception and visual awareness, with a particular emphasis on ensemble perception and perceptual rhythms. Our research seeks to understand how the human visual system deals with overwhelming amount of visual information (e.g., facial expressions of a large crowd) and how this process (ensemble perception) interacts with visual awareness. To accomplish this goal, we utilize a range of techniques, such as psychophysics, eye tracking, and EEG.
